First time at our Burleigh Pilates Reformer studio? Here’s everything you need to do before your first class with Pilates & Co Gold Coast.
BOOK INTO YOUR CLASS
It’s easy to create an account either through our website or the Pilates & Co app. Bookings are essential at Pilates & Co as spaces are limited. If you are unable to attend a class that you have booked, it is essential that you cancel this class a minimum of 12 hours before the class is due to start so that another student can then fill your spot. If you late-cancel or no-show you will be charged for the class!
When you are trying to book in and your preferred class is full, you can use our waitlist. You will be notified via email or txt if a space becomes available for you, or you may check your app closer to the start time and you may be able to add yourself in.
COMPLETE A NEW STUDENT FORM
You will need to complete a new student form prior to your first class. It’s important to us that we provide you with a safe practice so we need to know about your past and present injuries and goals so that we may serve you better. Based on your answers, we may require your doctor to provide us with medical clearance before you attend.
WHAT TO WEAR
Loose or stretchy clothes that are comfortable, cool and allow you to move freely are best.
We have a sock policy at Pilates & Co, Pilates socks for sale at the studio for your convenience.
A water bottle is recommended and a small towel is highly recommended for reformer HIIT sessions.
Leave your bulky items in the car, however, bring your valuables with you into class and place them in one of the baskets where you can keep an eye on it – just make sure your phone is on silent!
ARRIVE 5 MINUTES EARLY FOR ORIENTATION
Ensure you allow enough time to find street parking, it can get very busy around the studio.
We’ll need a minute to check over your new student form and you’ll enjoy class all the more for feeling unhurried. Please be considerate of noise levels if a class is still running. There is plenty of seating space around the garden and down the stairs before your class is due to start.
All group classes start promptly. For the safety and enjoyment of all participants please do not enter a class more than 5 minutes after the start time.
